Be sure to be by a computer next Friday, December 4th. FilmSchoolSF is working with an emerging Silicon Valley streaming media company, Vpype, to deliver a live interview with filmmaker, James Savoca, as well as present a series of FilmSchoolSF actor auditions.
Using this innovative, live-streaming Facebook application, James will discuss his feature film, Around June and his future film projects and SFSDF actors will get valuable time to demonstrate their talents. These interviews will be broadcast live, through Facebook, and will be archived for later viewing, too.

What is Vpype?
Vpype is a live, interactive video based application, enabling anyone who wants to tell their story to the world. Vpype users can create a live, personal broadcast, offering their own “personal talk show” to their friends or wider viewer community on the Internet. Vpype is an interactive, live broadcasting video solution that opens up vast visual communication opportunities for businesses, brand messaging campaigns and personal interests.

Here’s a great example – a Vpype interview with Oscar-winning producer Barrie M. Osbourne whose credits include The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings (all three), Face/Off, Rapa Nui, Apocalypse Now, The Big Chill and many more.

“This is such simple and powerful way for us to reach out to our friends and fans – and, hopefully, make new ones, said filmmaker James Savoca. We look forward to doing more of these in the future.”

Exact times are still being hammered out so stay tuned.
