One of the biggest benefits of going to SFSDF is the long-lasting friends and colleagues you pick up along the way. Some people you’ll work with time and time again and maybe even end up forming a company, cabal or commune together.
A couple of students who have formed such a lasting bond are SFSDF One-Year Digital Filmmaking Program alumni Staci DeGagne and Heather Maclean. They’ve worked on a handful of films together over the years and have most recently completed a music video for their music blog, Clean White Lines.
Who is Clean White Lines?
“Clean White Lines is a music blog started by 2 San Francisco-based filmmakers which produces and features articles & videos of and about bay-area musicians.”
The video is for SF-based singer-songwriter Sean Hayes. His new album, ‘Run Wolves Run’ hits the streets on March 2nd and this track – ‘The Garden’ – is one of his leading marketing and promotion pieces. (Note: this is not the full song. You’ll have to wait for the complete release!)
‘The Garden’ was shot on the 5D Mark II on the Russian River and was directed by Heather Maclean (SFSDF Class 4). Staci DeGagne (SFSDF Class 3) was the editor and Chris Mosson (SFSDF Class 8 ) as the Director of Photography.
